The Year of Yes continues… August 2024 – Women’s Month
Building on the success of our July Year of Yes challenge- The Month of Giving- we are turning our focus to all things Women’s Month.
Women’s Month celebrates the invaluable contributions of women throughout history and recognizes their achievements in various fields. It is a time to honor the resilience, strength, and accomplishments of women who have broken barriers and paved the way for future generations. We commemorate trailblazers like Rosa Parks, Malala Yousafzai, and Maya Angelou, whose courage and determination have inspired positive change and progress. Women’s Month serves as a reminder to acknowledge and appreciate the diverse and remarkable achievements of women worldwide.
What will this month entail?
During Women’s Month, we highlight the importance of self-defence for women. Empowering women with self-defence skills not only enhances their physical safety but also boosts their confidence and independence. By advocating for self-defence education and promoting a culture of empowerment, we can contribute to creating a safer and more inclusive society for women everywhere.
The August challenge will also entail sharing of personal journeys, inspired by women in the industry.
